An Afternoon with Cousins

Easter was spent at my Mom and Dad's place. It was a full house but lots of fun to be together. Eden had cousins to play with, Amy and Abby kept Eden busy and she really enjoyed herself.

Jericho got his first car today and spent some fun time "driving"!

Jericho's Days

Here are a few pictures to show what Jericho is doing theses days. He is motoring around so much and is getting quite fast. He is also pulling himself up to standing, he'll be walking before we know it. I know Jericho has a snotty nose in this picture and that is because he has a cold. Jericho hates having his nose or face wiped so in order to get him totally clean I have to hold him down and all the while he is screaming. As a result his nose is rarely clean.

Latest Addition

Well it is finally done! We completed Edens room yesterday and moved most of her stuff into it. I still have to get some things for the wall and a shelf or something but it still looks really good. The room is REALLY pink and I love it, I think Eden likes it too. In moving Eden to her own room we decided that we would make the switch to a toddler bed. Last night was the first night and after about three times telling Eden to stay in her bed she fell asleep. She then kept waking up so we put the mattress on the floor. I think she was scared to move for fear that she would fall off.

Happy 8 Month!!

Today marks the 8 month birthday for our little boy. I thought I would try and give you all a snapshot of what Jericho is doing, what he likes and doesn't.

• Can sit by himself
• Can hold his bottle
• Feeds himself puffed cereal
• Pushes up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth
• Almost crawling (he will go backwards but hasn't figured out forwards)
• Puts his face in the water at swimming
• Makes lots of noises (AHHH, BABA, GAGA)
• Loves food, pureed meat and veggies
• Starting on textured foods like rice
• Does not like to be left alone in a room
• Loves the attention of his big sister
• Finds anything his sister does funny
• Smiles at anyone
• Will go to anyone unless he is tired
• Loves to stand
• Drools all over
• Puts everything in his mouth
• Has two bottom teeth

I am sure I have left some things out but hopefully this gives you a glimpse into life with our little boy.

New House Furnished

Here are some pictures of our house after we have moved in. It is amazing how quickly it can looked "lived in" all it takes is some messiness. This is Jericho's room. I still have to make some curtians for it. Eden is sleeping in Jericho's room for now because her room is not ready yet. We hope to be done in the next month, I am looking forward to having them in seperate rooms and also space to put toys.

Who's This Handsome Boy

Jericho is growing so fast. He loves to roll around so he doesn't stay on the blanket we lay out for him anymore. He is doing a good job at starting to sit on his own and he looks so close to starting to crawl. Before we know it he will be motoring around. He is definitely more active than Eden was. Both Jericho and Eden have been sick lately but they seem to be on the mend.
